Office Staff Reserves Policy

Office Staff Reserves Policy

  1. Office staff must identify and train a person who will take on all the tasks usually associated with their job descriptions while they are on leave.
  2. Office staff reserves must be current staff, unless no staff member expresses an interest. They must at least be co-op members. Stock Coordinator reserves should be Shop Coordinators.
  3. All staff must be given the opportunity to apply for a reserve position when expressions of interest are being sought. If necessary, a staff meeting will decide on any ballot for a particular position.
  4. The Members' Council must ratify reserve positions before training begins.
